Terms of Service
Last updated 1 November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and TestardStudios, which runs COMMON. You accept them when you create an account. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Who can use COMMON
You must be at least 14 years old. One account per person, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe and your email address up to date.
2. COMMON is free
COMMON has no paid plans or subscriptions, so nothing renews and nothing is charged. If we ever offer paid features, we'll state the price, the renewal terms and how to cancel online before you pay.
3. Your content
- What you post stays yours.
- So that we can run the service, you give TestardStudios a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display and distribute your content on COMMON. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies other users have quoted and backups that are deleted on a rolling basis.
- We don't sell your content and we don't use it to train AI models.
- Only post what you have the right to share: your own words and images, or material you have permission or a legal right to use.
4. Rules
Don't use COMMON to:
- post anything illegal, including sexual content involving minors, terrorist content or content that infringes someone else's rights;
- harass, threaten or bully people, or attack them for who they are;
- publish someone's private information without their consent;
- impersonate people or organisations, or mislead people about who you are;
- spam, manipulate votes, or run fake or automated accounts;
- spread malware, probe or attack the service, or scrape it at scale;
- get around a ban or suspension.
Communities can add their own rules on top of these. Moderators are volunteers who enforce them in their community.
5. Moderation and reporting
- Anyone can report a post or comment with the report button. To report illegal content or a copyright infringement, you can also write to privacy@testardstudios.it.
- Moderators can remove content and ban people from their community. Platform administrators can remove any content and suspend accounts that break these terms. Every action is recorded with its reason in the moderation log.
- If we act on your content or account, you can see why in your notifications. If you think we got it wrong, write to privacy@testardstudios.it and a person will review it.
6. Availability
We work to keep COMMON running, but it's a free service provided as it is: we don't promise any level of uptime, and features may change. We'll give notice before shutting the service down so you can download your data.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or any rights you have as a consumer that the law doesn't allow us to exclude. Apart from that, we aren't liable for content posted by other users, and our total liability to you for any claim related to COMMON is limited to €100.
8. Ending
You can stop using COMMON and delete your account at any time from Settings, and download your data first. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
9. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you on the site at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
10. Law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you can also rely on the mandatory laws of your country and bring a claim in the courts where you live.
